PPM-BPJS Employment - Implementation of Presidential Instruction no. 2 of 2021 in the Regions
Thursday, 11 November 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, represented by the Government and Human Development Sector, attended virtually the implementation of the activity "Implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 2 of 2021 in the region regarding BPJS Employment".
In order to ensure the protection of non-ASN employees and vulnerable workers in the Regional Government APBD through Minister of Home Affairs Regulation no. 27 of 2021 and Minister of Home Affairs Circular No. 842.215193/SJ, BPJS Employment in coordination with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Cabinet Secretariat and the Presidential Staff Office carried out activities with the theme Implementation of Presidential Instruction (INPRES) Number 2 of 2021 concerning Optimization of Employment Social Security Programs in the Regions through Follow-up to Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 27 of 2021 and Minister of Home Affairs Circular No. 842.215193/SJ.
The activity which invited relevant stakeholders from elements of the Regional Government at both the Provincial and Regency/City levels along with all regional Deputy Directors and Heads of BPJS Employment Branch Offices was carried out online.
The Main Director of BPJS Employment, Anggoro Eko Cahyo, said that with the implementation of INPRES Number 2 of 2021 concerning Optimization of the Employment Social Security Program through the Follow-up to Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 27 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for Preparing the 2022 APBD and Minister of Home Affairs Circular No. 842.215193/SJ is expected to maximize the presence of Employment Social Security for Non-ASN Employees and vulnerable workers in the Regional Government APBD.
