Emission Reduction Program in East Kalimantan: Bappeda Holds FCPF-CF Fund Management Meeting for Green Future
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province held a coordination meeting in an online and online manner together with the Project Management Unit (PMU) and the Forest Carbon Partnership Forest Facility Planning and Budgeting Working Group (FCPF-CF) at the Mercure Hotel Samarinda, Tuesday (3/9) and the Forest Carbon Partnership Forest Facility-Carbon Fund (FCPF-CF).
Head of East Kalimantan Bappeda represented by the Head of the Economy and SDA (PSDA), Wahyu Gatut Purboyo opened a coordination meeting which was also attended by the FCPF-CF program fund manager in the Regional Apparatus Organization in the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, including the Environment Agency, the Forest Service, and the Economic Bureau, as well as from the East Kalimantan Climate Change Regional Council (DDPI).
"Until now, the East Kalimantan Provincial Government has received the second phase of FCPF-PF funds, so it is necessary to evaluate the achievements of FCPF-PF activities at the FCPF-PF program manager", the Head of PSDA Bappeda Kaltim was conveyed.
Furthermore, through this coordination meeting there are several speakers to provide a complete understanding of efforts to optimally implement FCPF-PF funds.
In addition, discussions and questions and answers were moderated by young expert planners in the field of PSDA Bappeda Kaltim, Agus Taswanto related to the evaluation of the implementation of the FCPF-PF program in 2023 and future work plans.
