Coordination Meeting to Prepare Regional Development Plan Documents (RPD) for 2024-2026
In order to prepare the 2024-2026 Regional Development Plan (RPD) document, the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda held a consolidation meeting on November 8 2022 at the Swiss-bel Balikpapan hotel.

This meeting was chaired by the Acting Head of Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Yusliando, accompanied by the Head of PPEPD, Mrs. Rina Juliaty, and attended by the Secretary of Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, the Head of the Planning Division of Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, and all functionalities. By presenting the resource person as Planning and Policy Expert, Mrs. Nita Yiswara, ST. M.Si this meeting discussed several agendas including Stages, Strategies and Methods for Preparing RPD; Scope of work and output acceleration target in 2022; Identification of the required data and initial assessment of regional conditions.

In her presentation, Mrs. Nita explained several things that were of concern in preparing programs, activities and sub-activities in the RPD and PD Strategic Plan, namely the alignment of national priority programs in the 2020-2024 RPJMN; Evaluation of the performance achievements of the goals, targets and outcomes (outcomes) of each PD Strategic Plan through evaluating the achievements of the RKPD or PD Renja until 2022; Evaluation of the output contribution of all activities/sub-activities up to 2022 in achieving outcomes; Strategic issues related to the areas of affairs and main tasks and functions of regional apparatus; National policy; Applicable regulations; as well as suggestions and/or input from regional development stakeholders.

For your information, the RPD is a transition document for the RPJMD which will be a guideline for the Acting. Regional Heads in the administration of government and Regional Development in 2024-2026 as mandated by Law Number 10 of 2016, one of which is holding simultaneous regional head elections nationally in 2024.
