East Kalimantan Indonesia One Data Organizing Meeting

Samarinda, 08 June 2021, 09.00 WITA. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province as the secretariat of Satu Data Indonesia East Kalimantan held a meeting to discuss the Governor's Regulations regarding the implementation of Satu Data East Kalimantan as a derivative of Presidential Regulation number 39 of 2019 concerning "One Data Indonesia".

Located in the Repetada meeting room of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda office, this meeting was chaired by the Head of Regional Development Planning, Control and Evaluation (P2EPD), Rina Juliaty, S.Si, M. Si, and attended by representatives of the East Kalimantan Diskominfo as data guardian and the East Kalimantan Central Statistics Agency as data supervisor.

The East Kalimantan One Data Arrangement aims to provide a reference in implementing data governance to support planning, implementation, evaluation and control of development in the region. Apart from that, it is also to provide data that is accurate, up-to-date, integrated, accountable and easy to access, encouraging data openness and transparency so as to create data-based development planning and policy formulation.

The types of data contained in One East Kalimantan Data include Geospatial Information data which includes Basic Geospatial Information and Thematic Geospatial Information, as well as Statistical Data which includes Basic Statistics, Sectoral Statistics, and Special Statistics.

On this occasion it was stated that data producers are in charge of collecting data, and will be checked by data guardians. Furthermore, Diskominfo confirmed that as data guardian, it receives data via electronic and non-electronic methods considering network limitations in the regions.

At this meeting it was agreed that next all sectors in the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda would hold an internal meeting to discuss One Indonesian Data and complete the required data. It is planned that on June 22, East Kalimantan One Data socialization activities will be carried out, and it is targeted that all relevant agencies will have inventoried the proposed data according to the required data requirements.
