Socialization of the Implementation of the 2025 Regional Development Awards (PPD) at District/City Level Phase I

The East Kalimantan Bappeda Government and Human Development (PPM) Division held a socialization meeting regarding the implementation of the 2025 Regional Development Awards (PPD) at Regency/City Level Phase I.


The meeting which took place in the Propeda meeting room was attended by all planners, team leaders and related staff.


On this occasion, the assessment mechanism and implementation stages of the first stage in the Regional Development Award Assessment to determine district/city nominations were discussed.


The Regional Development Award (PPD) itself is an annual evaluation carried out on the planning and performance of development achievements at the provincial, district and city levels. Bappeda East Kalimantan itself has the responsibility to carry out assessments in 10 districts/cities in the East Kalimantan region.


In this meeting, it was explained that the object of assessment covers various aspects, including the process of preparing and quality of planning documents, quality of monitoring, evaluation, control, performance of regional development achievements, as well as interventions regional superior programs that contribute to development achievements.


The assessment stage begins with socialization, followed by document collection. After that, the first stage of assessment was carried out with an assessment weight of 45% to assess planning documents and regional superior programs. Regions that meet the criteria will be nominated and proceed to the second stage, namely verification and presentation with an assessment weight of 55%, then the district/city with the highest overall assessment will receive the Regional Development Award according to its category.


For information, the first stage of the assessment process will begin on Wednesday, February 5 until February 8 2025.


With this socialization meeting, it is hoped that all relevant parties can understand the mechanisms and stages of assessment in the 2025 Regional Development Awards, and can work together to create a transparent and objective assessment process.
