Permendargri socialization number 22 and number 25 of 2020
Samarinda, (04/11/2020). Secretary of Bappeda Province of East Kalimantan Province Drs. H. Sufian Agus, M.Sc and Staff of Rieka Indah. B, SOS., M.Si attended the Permendagri Socialization Number 22 of 2020 concerning Regional Cooperation Procedures with Third Parties, and Permendagri Number 25 of 2020 concerning Procedures for Regional Cooperation with Regional Governments Abroad and Regional Cooperation with Foreign Institutions.
This activity lasted for two days from 3 to 4 November 2020 at the Harris Hotel Samarinda and was opened by the East Kalimantan Governor Mr. Dr. H. Isran Noor who was accompanied by the General Administration Assistant of the Regional Secretariat of Prov. Kaltim Mr. H. Fathul Halim, Head of BPKAD Prov. Kaltim Mr. H.M. Sa'duddin, Secretary of Bappeda Prov. Kaltim Mr. Drs. H. Sufian Agus, M.Sc and Plh. Head of Public Relations Bureau of Regional Secretariat Prov. Kaltim Mr. Drs. Andik Riyanto, M.Sc.
In his remarks Isran said that through this activity it is hoped that it can build harmonious relations between regional governments and regional heads in Indonesia as well as the government and institutions abroad.
This socialization aims to be a guideline for the regions in increasing the capacity in the field of cooperation with regional heads throughout Indonesia, third parties, government and foreign institutions, so that development cooperation relations become increasingly harmonious.
The socialization contains the urgency of regional cooperation with abroad including, increasing the welfare of the community, fulfilling public services, increasing the capacity of human resources, encouraging regional competitiveness, strengthening the Republic of Indonesia, improving the economy and investment and strengthening international friendship and relationships. Guidelines for implementing regional cooperation with foreign countries are derived from Government Regulation Number 28 of 2018, where the Provincial Government has an increasingly complex responsibility, so that all parties are needed to be able to carry out cooperation well in accordance with the provisions.
