Socialization of Minister of Home Affairs Regulations Number 22 and Number 25 of 2020

Samarinda, (04/11/2020). Secretary of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Drs. H. Sufian Agus, M.Si and Rieka Indah Staff .B, Sos., M.Si attended the Socialization of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 22 of 2020 concerning procedures for regional cooperation with third parties, and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 25 of 2020 concerning procedures for regional cooperation with Regional Government Abroad and regional cooperation with foreign institutions.

This activity took place for two days from 3 to 4 November 2020 at the Harris Samarinda Hotel and was opened by the Governor of East Kalimantan, Mr. Dr. H. Isran Noor who was accompanied by the Assistant General Administration of the Provincial Secretariat. East Kalimantan Mr H. Fathul Halim, Head of BPKAD Provincial. East Kalimantan Mr H.M. Sa'duddin, Secretary of the Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan Mr Drs. H. Sufian Agus, M.Si and Plh. Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Provincial Secretariat. East Kalimantan Mr Drs. Andik Riyanto, M.Si.

In his speech, Isran said that through this activity it is hoped that he can build harmonious relations between regional governments and regional heads throughout Indonesia as well as governments and institutions abroad.

This socialization aims to be a guide for regions in increasing capacity in the field of cooperation with regional heads throughout Indonesia, third parties, government and foreign institutions, so that working relationships and development becomes more harmonious.

The socialization contains the Urgency of Regional Cooperation with Abroad including, Improving Welfare of the Community, Fulfilling Public Services, Increasing Human Resource Capacity, Encouraging Regional Competitiveness, Strengthening the Republic of Indonesia, Improving the Economy and Investment and Strengthening International Friendship and Relationships. These guidelines for implementing regional cooperation with foreign countries are a derivative of Government Regulation Number 28 of 2018, where the Provincial Government has increasingly complex responsibilities, so synergy is needed from all parties to be able to carry out cooperation well in accordance with the provisions.
