Nazrin, M.Si when giving an introductory speech in commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhamaad SAW in the Regional Police meeting room, floor I of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Jl. Kusuma Bangsa Number 2. Samarinda.

The 2013 commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW by the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda was attended by around fifty employees and women workers and felt very lively, because the event began with a performance of hasidah music by the Salawad Hafsi Dharma Wanita Group of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, then continued with a reading of the Al-Quran by Udin and Saritilawah by Hastati Paturusi, SH, staff of the East Kalimantan Bappeda Secretariat, then continued with remarks from the Head East Kalimantan Bappeda delivered by the Secretary of East Kalimantan Bappeda, Ir.H. Nazrin, M.Si.

The peak event was a spiritual shower delivered by Ustad H. Benyamin, LC from Samarinda City conveying various good lessons from the birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. With a very good and unpretentious delivery so that the female employees who were present were very happy to hear it.

In his brightness, Ustad said that around 1500 years ago, the universe received the greatest glory. A figure whose essence was created in advance of everything and at the same time the essence for which everything was created, was born into the world. His name is Muhammad, whose title is Rasul and Prophet Saw. He was born from the sacred womb of Aminah, who was none other than the wife of a man named Abdullah.

Since the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW, signs of his greatness have been visible. His birth brought blessings to the city of Makkah because at that time the very strong army of elephants led by Abraha failed to attack the city of Makkah.

His birth in the city of Makkah made Makkah the center of Islamic civilization. His birth in the city of Makkah made Makkah a peaceful and peaceful city. So, everyone felt like they were lifting and returning the Black Stone to its position. And they made peace.

The values ​​of wisdom, example and leadership as in the story above are what make the commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW worth always preserving, even though around 1500 years have passed. Because, in commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Muslims not only come together as one unit to express their love for the Prophet in various expressions. Because, every episode of his life contains examples, wisdom and leadership values ​​that we should emulate and practice in ourselves and our lives.

As Muslims and the Ummah of the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW, it is fitting for us to continue to preserve the momentum and commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. However, it doesn't stop at just rituals, what is more important is to reflect and study his example to become a guide for us in navigating the oceans of life in this world so that we will be safe in this world and the hereafter, amen.
