Samarinda, Wednesday 7/10/15. The Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak has a truly extraordinary and far-reaching dream
2085, namely "The capital of the Republic of Indonesia moved to East Kalimantan". The Governor of East Kalimantan said enthusiastically and received a warm welcome from the seminar participants which were attended by community leaders, NGOs, mass organizations, KNPI and officials and staff from SKPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and Regency/City Governments throughout East Kalimantan totaling approximately 300 people.
Statement by the Governor of East Kalimantan delivered when delivering a speech and at the same time opening a one-day seminar on a time capsule expedition with the theme "Weaving the Development of East Kalimantan for Greater Indonesia in 2085" in the Ruhui Rahayu meeting room of the East Kalimantan Governor's Office, Jalan Gadjah Mada Number 2 Samarinda, 7/10/15.
H. Awang Faroek Ishak added that as a Governor you must dare to dream in order to increase the development you want to achieve so that these dreams can be realized with real efforts and the main task for the Government is to improve the welfare of the people.
The words of the Governor of East Kalimantan which were very profound and very impressive for the seminar participants were "whether in the next 70 years or in 2085 East Kalimantan will still be in the Republic of Indonesia or Independent, of course we all don't know because all of us in this room certainly can't know anymore except our children and grandchildren".
Therefore, the Governor of East Kalimantan really supports this program on the grounds that our dreams are for the future. in 2085 we can make our current dreams come true and not prevent them from becoming nightmares for our future grandchildren. Said the Governor of East Kalimantan.
The dreams or opinions of the Governor of East Kalimantan in the next 70 years or 2085 which were conveyed at the time capsule seminar included:
1. A governor must dare to dream in order to improve the development and welfare of the people;
2. Dreaming cannot possibly come true without effort, try to make the dream come true in time;
3. The East Kalimantan Railway Project will not only be transporting goods but also transporting people;
4.The Governor of East Kalimantan has not given new permits for mining;
5.The Governor of East Kalimantan's dream is that when East Kalimantan's natural resources run out, reliable human resources like Singapore, Japan and other developed countries will emerge;
6.What we do now we hope that our children and grandchildren will enjoy the results;
The National Movement of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia which was campaigned by President Joko Widodo through the National Time Capsule Expedition Event in 2085 or 70 years. What we want to achieve received serious attention and support from the Governor of East Kalimantan, H. and the peak will be held on October 28 2015, which also coincides with the celebration of Youth Pledge Day which will be held at Sempaja Samarinda Stadium.
Meanwhile, the speaker of the East Kalimantan Time Capsule Expedition Day Seminar, H. Djafar Sidik, as a Community and Religious Figure, will present material on social and cultural, environmental, religious and welfare aspects with the topic: "Creating professional human resources with noble character"; said that in the next 70 years East Kalimantan's Human Resources must be able to manage natural resources with their various variations.
Meanwhile, the speaker DR.H. Isran Noor as a politician and will deliver material on aspects of Government, Politics, Law, Defense and Security, Spatial Planning and the Environment and Welfare with the topic: "Realizing clean and corruption-free governance"; is "East Kalimantan must be honest in managing its government and not be unjust to its people, even to corrupt people." H. Isran Noor continued his statement that "does not agree that corruptors should be punished as severely as possible, it is correct to punish them according to the level of their guilt."
The former Regent of East Kutai gave an example that if an official or person becomes a suspect in corruption with funds managed for example Rp. 42 M and after going through a trial process the person was found guilty, but the problem was that this person had caused losses to the state amounting to Rp. 42 AD even though only 2 billion was corrupted, he said, this means he was unjust to that person, he said. What should have happened was that the state suffered a loss of 2 billion, not Rp. 42 Billion.
The speaker from Mulawarman University was delivered directly by the Chancellor of UNMUL, Prof. Mas Jaya has a broad and deep view that dreams are dreams that must be made real in time with a target of the next 70 years or 2085.
In general, in order to achieve a dream, you must first know the current conditions and dream about what is expected in 2085. The dream in question will become a reality if it goes through the stages of sustainable development planning.
In contrast to the opinion of the last speaker, Zuhairi represents a young figure but has very broad thoughts about the plans for East Kalimantan in 2085.
In his dream there are three very spectacular ones, including: 1. East Kalimantan becomes a world research center in order to produce various superior products that can generate regional opinion, especially Mulawarman University as a world research center; 2. Realizing East Kalimantan as a people's economic center; 3. Making the long and beautiful Mahakam River the center of world maritime tourism so that it will be able to improve the economy of East Kalimantan and be able to accommodate a large workforce.
