Development of IDI East Kalimantan 2009-2013

Kesbangpol Agency of East Kalimantan Province, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Number 1 Samarinda was opened by the Expert Staff of the Governor of East Kalimantan in the Field of Economic Development and Finance, Budi Pranawo and then guided by Sofyan Maskur from the editor of Kaltimpost Samarinda and presented a resource person from BPS East Kalimantan Province, Gultom and Syarif Hidayat from LIPI in the office of the office of the office of the Kesbangpol, East Kalimantan, Jalan Jalan Jeman Sudirman Number 1 Samarinda.
The meeting participants were attended by approximately 50 people from the SKPD of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and the Regency/City Government SKPD in East Kalimantan.
IDI socialization for the East Kalimantan Provincial Government apparatus resulted in the development of the Indonesian Domocracy Index of East Kalimantan Province in 2009-2013, among others: 1. The value of IDI East Kalimantan for a period of five years (2009-2013) ranging from 66-73 which means showing the quality of democratic performance in East Kalimantan is at a moderate level;
2. The highest East Kalimantan IDI value was achieved in 2010 with a value of 73.04 and the lowest IDI value of 66.37 in 2011;
3. In 2013 the IDI value in East Kalimantan only reached 68.13. When compared to the previous year (71.23) the 2013 IDI value dropped slightly but did not change the category of achievement quality;
4. Idi fluctuating patterns with a tendency to decline for five years since 2009 indicate the immature behavior and attitudes of the community and political behavior in democracy in East Kalimantan Province;
5. The 2014 IDI assessment is still under the assessment of the IDI expert council team at the central level it is estimated that it will be released around the beginning of September 2015.
