ICCTF Hearing and Swaniti Initiative Discuss Energy Transition Research Studies
Samarinda (26/06/2024) - Indonesia Climate Change Trust Fund (ICCTF) conducted an audience with Swaniti Initiative related to the latest research study aimed at operating the Fair Energy Transition Framework program. This meeting took place in the room of the Head of the Economy and Natural Resources (PSDA) on Wednesday, (25/06) and was attended by representatives from ICCTF, Swaniti Initiative, PSDA Kapala, Wahyu Gatut Purboyo along with staff.
This is in line with the efforts of the Indonesian government to ensure that changes towards sustainable energy can be carried out fairly and inclusively, without ignoring the interests and aspirations of the affected local community.
As information, Swaniti Initiative is a non government organization established in 2012 based in India. They work to improve the welfare of the community by helping the government implement sustainable development policies, increase the use of renewable energy, improve governance, and empower local communities. Swaniti Initiative uses data and evidence to design innovative and effective programs.
In addition, also discussed ways to increase community involvement in the energy transition process and identify challenges and opportunities that may arise during its implementation. Local.
