East Kalimantan Bappeda Increases Journalism Competency Through Mobile Journalism Technical Guidance by Tempo Institute
Jakarta, 22 May 2024 - PPID Bappeda Kaltim took part in the Mobile Journalism Technical Guidance held by the Tempo Institute for two days.
This technical guidance event, which took place from 21 to 22 May, was held at the Tempo Building, Jakarta.
Participants from PPID Bappeda Kaltim were given the opportunity to deepen their understanding of journalism techniques, starting from the process reporting, processing, and publication, using only a smartphone.
Not only theory, participants also practice directly in the field. In these two intensive days, the participants were given material about the basics of audio-visual storytelling and editing and videography techniques by two experienced mentors in their fields.
Nana Risky, who serves as Head of Multimedia Tempo, provided her knowledge about the secrets of visual storytelling in the digital era, while Hadi Ahdiana, a Tempo journalist, shared advanced videography techniques.
Thus, the participation of PPID BAPPEDA Kaltim in this Mobile Journalism technical guidance is expected to improve their ability to present information that is accurate, creative and relevant to the people of East Kalimantan.
