Follow -up Meeting Discussion on Proposed Draft Pergub Rad Pd
as a follow-up to the results of the meeting in the discussion of the East Kalimantan Governor Regulation (Pergub) regarding the Regional Action Plan for Disabilities (RAD PD) on 26-27 February 2024, Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province along with elements of the Regional Management Board of the Indonesian Disabilities Association (DPD-PPDI) and regional apparatus East Kalimantan Bappeda Propeda, Monday (1/4).
Young Expert Planning for Government and Human Development of East Kalimantan Bappeda, Mr. Muhammad Hamsani said that this meeting would focus on the discussion of the body and the substance of the Governor Regulation.
Furthermore, the regulation will later aim as a basis for the realization of the fulfillment, protection and enforcement of the rights of persons with disabilities, so as to support efforts to improve the welfare of society and the quality of human life.
In addition, it is also to realize the implementation of local governments that are able to implement human development specifically the fulfillment, protection and enforcement of the rights of persons with disabilities.
Also present in the discussion was Mrs. Anni Juwairiyah, as the Chairperson of the Regional Management Board of the Indonesian Disabilities Association (DPD-PPDI) and Dr. Haris Retno Susmiyati, SH.M.H, as Chairman of the Center for Women's and Children's Law (Pushpa) Faculty of Law, University of Mulawarman, Samarinda.
In the next stage, the results of this meeting will be continued with the final discussion together with all relevant parties that will be outlined in the Minutes of Agreement related to the draft Pergub Rad PD.
