Technical Guidance for Provincial Vital Records Management. East Kalimantan in 2022
Tuesday, 07/19/2022. First Functional Archivist and Archive Processor Record Center Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan attended the 2022 Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for Management of Vital Archives for East Kalimantan Province. The Bimtek was held at the Harris Samarinda Hotel and opened by the Deputy Governor of the Province. East Kalimantan – H. Hadi Mulyadi, S.Si, M.Si.

Dynamic Archive Management and SRIKANDI Implementation

Donggala; According to Article 1 Number 2 of Law no. 43 of 2009 concerning Archives, Archives are records of activities or events in various forms and media in accordance with developments in information and communication technology created and accepted by state institutions, regional governments, educational institutions, companies, political organizations, community organizations, and individuals in the implementation life in society, nation and state.

Implementation of General Applications in the Field of Dynamic Archives using SRIKANDI (Integrated Dynamic Archives Information System) Version 2. Based on the Legal Basis of Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 95 of 2018 concerning Electronic-Based Government Systems and Decree of the Minister for Apparatus Empowerment State and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia Number 679 of 2020 concerning General Applications in the Field of Dynamic Archives. The aim of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), namely to increase the integration and efficiency of the electronic-based government system, requires governance and management of the electronic-based government system nationally. As long as SRIKANDI cannot be utilized because it is in the preparation process, State Institutions and Regional Governments can continue to utilize existing applications to facilitate government services properly no later than 31 December 2021. (ANRI Regulation Number 4 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for Implementing SRIKANDI)

And Risnawati, SE. MM as an Associate Archivist at the East Kalimantan Province Library and Archives Service presented material on Vital Archives Management. Vital Archives are recorded information that is very important and is attached to the existence and activities of an organization which contains information regarding legal status, rights and obligations as well as agency assets. If Vital Archives are lost they cannot be replaced and hamper the existence and implementation of agency activities (Perka ANRI No.6 of 2005). The existence of Vital Archives is a basic requirement for the continuity of operations of archive creators, cannot be renewed and cannot be replaced if damaged or lost (Pergub, East Kalimantan Number 67 of 2013 concerning Protection and Salvage of Vital Documents/Archives within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government). To identify Vital Documents/Archives, starting with Organizational Analysis then data collection is carried out using a form, then the data collection results will be processed based on vital archive criteria accompanied by legal analysis and risk analysis. Determining vital records is a continuation of data processing activities.
