Strengthening the PPAS Sanitation AMPL Working Group for other provinces in the context of achieving universal access to drinking water and sanitation

Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province was represented by the infrastructure and regional field to attend virtual implementation of "Local Training of Strengthening Pokja Sanitation Working Groups in other provinces in the context of achieving universal access to drinking water and sanitation".

Pamsimas is an initiative for the supply of rural drinking water and sanitation that began in 2008. Pamsimas is targeted to be a platform (policy framework) for the development of drinking water and rural sanitation. Pamsimas is carried out by the community (Community Work Plan/RKM) and community -based management (Group Management of Water Supply and Sanitation - KPSPAMS).

The success of the Pamsimas program is measured by 16 key performance indicators (KPI) which comprehensively illustrates the success of all components of Pamsimas, both at the national, provincial and district and village levels. Based on data on October 26, 2021, there are 2 of 16 KPIs that have not been achieved, namely KPI 3 and KPI 15.
