Meeting of TPST Planning Study Document Meeting in Samarinda and Kukar Lintas
Monday, August 23, 2021. Representative of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda attended the online activities "Preparation of TPST Planning Study Documents in Samarinda and Kukar".
Some things that are important notes in the implementation of these activities include:
TPST Planning Studies in Samarinda and Kutai Kartanegara Lintas are carried out by the East Kalimantan Provincial Environment Agency in collaboration with Mulawarman University.
PST or Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is the venue for centralized separation and processing activities.
The main activities of the TPST are: further processing of waste that has been sorted on the source, separation and direct processing of the city waste component, and improving the quality of recovery/recycling products.
The purpose of the study, includes: technical aspects, namely analysis of regional TPST development locations based on technical considerations (selection of regional criteria and elections will consider the provisions in SNI); The non -technical aspect is to determine the analysis of the regional TPST location development plan based on non -technical considerations (institutional readiness, the role of the community, the role of the private sector and the source of financing); Recommendations namely providing recommendations for optimizing TPST operational activities.
