Third Session of 2022 TKPSDA WS Berau - Kelai
Thursday, 09/22/2022 Head of BAPPEDA Provincial. East Kalimantan Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM attended the agenda for the 2022 Third Session of TKPSDA WS Berau – Kelai via Zoom Meeting. The meeting was attended by TKPSDA members WS Berau-Kelai; TKPSDA Secretariat, BWS Kalimantan V Tanjung Selor, and BAPPEDA LITBANG Kab. Berau as resource person.

Head of BAPPEDA Provincial. Kaltim opened the event and gave a welcome speech. In his remarks, the Head of BAPPEDA Provincial. East Kalimantan said that in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing 421/KPTS/M/2021 dated 12 April 2021, TKPSDA WS Berau-Kelai has the task of assisting the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing in coordinating Water Resources Management through:
a. Discussion of draft patterns and plans for managing water resources in the Berau-Kelai river area in order to formulate considerations for determining patterns and plans for managing water resources;
b. Discussion of program design and draft water resource management activity plans in the Berau-Kelai River Region in order to formulate considerations for determining water resource programs and activity plans;
c. Discussion of proposed water allocation plans from each water source in the Berau-Kelai River Area in order to formulate considerations for determining a water allocation plan;
d. Discussion of management plans for hydrological, hydrometeorological and hydrogeological information systems (SIH3) in the Berau-Kelai River Region to achieve integrated management of information systems;
e. Discussion of the design for institutional utilization of water resources management in the Berau-Kelai River Region; and
f. Providing considerations to the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing regarding the implementation of water resources management in the Berau-Kelai River Area.
In order for these tasks to be achieved, the agenda for the Third Session was to discuss local strategic issues related to coastal erosion on Derawan Island as well as an inventory of follow-up recommendations from the plenary session.
